Privacy Notice

How Bi-Concepts handles your personal data on Fulcrum and related web services.

    1. General information

Your data are safe in our hands. Bi-Concepts only collects the personal data that it needs to fulfil its tasks. Stored data are carefully managed and protected against any form of abuse.

Under Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and under federal data protection law, everyone is entitled to have their privacy protected and to have their personal data protected from abuse. Bi-Concepts complies with these provisions on its web pages and when providing its web services.

    2. Scope of application

This Privacy Notice applies to all Bi-Concepts websites, to web pages operated by third parties on our behalf, and to personal data collected via these web pages. This Privacy Notice may be amended at any time without prior notice. Where our web pages offer links to the web pages of other providers, the privacy information and policies of those providers apply.

    3. Links

Bi-Concepts has no influence over external pages to which it links, nor over external pages that link to Bi-Concepts pages. Accordingly, we provide no guarantee that such pages are accurate or free of malware. Responsibility for the information and services provided on linked web pages lies entirely with the third party concerned.

    4. What happens to your data?

    a) Retention and erasure

Processing of personal data on Bi-Concepts web pages is limited to what is required to provide a properly functioning website and user-friendly content and services, or to data you have actively made available to us. Personal data are only retained for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose concerned. Certain data may be retained longer to meet statutory requirements or other obligations.

    b) Data stored when completing a form

If you complete a form on our website, we process the data you provide to the extent required to fulfil the purpose of processing or to deal with your request. Any information we receive is provided on a voluntary basis. Obligatory fields are only marked as such if the information is required to fulfil our statutory duty or to deal with your request. These data are erased when the statutory retention period expires at the latest.

    c) Data stored for web analysis

When you access our web pages and services, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and information transmitted about the device used (including operating system and browser). These data are evaluated by web analysis tools to continuously improve our methods of communication.

    d) Cookies

Cookies are used on Bi-Concepts websites to make visiting the website attractive and to allow certain functions to be used. Most cookies used (session cookies) are deleted at the end of the browser session. Others remain on your computer and enable you to be recognised on your next visit. You can restrict or deactivate cookies via your browser; some functions may then be unavailable.

    e) Third-party services

Bi-Concepts may embed third-party services (such as YouTube, Google Maps, or reCAPTCHA) in individual pages. These providers may set cookies and receive data when you use the relevant pages. In such cases, the data protection provisions of the provider concerned apply. Bi-Concepts has no influence over the collection or further use of data by these operators.

    5. Your rights

You have the right to request information on the processing of your personal data by Bi-Concepts at any time, free of charge. You may have further statutory rights, such as the right to have data erased or corrected, to have data processing restricted, and to have data transmitted. Contact us at info@bi-concepts.ch.

    6. Data security

When you visit our website, Bi-Concepts uses encrypted data communication based on TLS in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. In addition, Bi-Concepts uses suitable technical and organisational security measures in its data processing to protect your data against accidental or wilful manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties.

    7. Operation

The web servers used to operate the websites are technically maintained by Bi-Concepts's own service providers. Individual services may also be provided by external partners. External operators are subject to the same data protection requirements as internally operated applications.

    8. Contact

If you have any questions about data processing or believe that Bi-Concepts may be infringing your rights by processing your personal data, please contact us at info@bi-concepts.ch.
